Casey Robert Senechal, 26, originally of Lebanon, Connecticut, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 10, 2014. Casey, the son of Richard and Michele Senechal of Lebanon, CT, was born on February 20, 1988. Casey graduated from Lyman Memorial High School in 2006. He then became employed at UConn as a Chef at The Union Street Market. Casey loved the outdoors, everything from camping, hunting, fishing, canoeing, riding ATV's and, UTV's. He was always looking forward to his next great adventure. Casey's family and friends meant the world to him and were a very big part of his life. Casey always had a smile on his face that was infectious to everyone in his presence. Casey was very proud to be French Canadian. Casey had many nicknames; Lumpy, Baby Brother, Redneck, Casey Bobby, Mr. Babaloo and many of his co-workers called him Little Bear. He will always be known for his big bear hugs which he gave freely. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Brooke Senechal and partner Brianna Clifford, sister, Ashley Slater and close brother (in law) Chip Slater. He is also survived by grandparents, Irene and Ted Johnson, Memere Georgette Senechal and was predeceased by his Pepere Jules Senechal. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and, cousins, not to mention all of his countless friends both new and old. To say he will be missed greatly is an understatement. His family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday March 16, 2014 between 5:00 and 8:00pm at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 11:00AM at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St. Willimantic, with assembly at the church. Cremation will follow. Kindly omit flowers.
