Caroline E. Neborsky

Caroline Elizabeth Neborsky (Watras), 82, of Scotland, Connecticut, passed away March 25, 2016 at Marlborough Health Care Center, Marlborough, CT. She was born May 27, 1933 in Norwich, Connecticut to Bronislaws and Elizabeth (Spring) Watras, of Wethersfield, CT. Carol graduated from the University of Connecticut and raised her family in Scotland. Carol was active in town, serving as Registrar of Voters, on the PHHS Board of Education, and was a parishioner at St. Margaret Church. Carol will be remembered for her creative and generous spirit. A very special thank you to Linda Spoerl for the care and support shown to Carol in her final years. Carol is predeceased by her husband, Walter N. Neborsky, Sr. She is survived by her children, Walter (Ruth), Jr. of Victory, VT; Donald of Chaplin; Joseph of Columbia; Thomas of Ashford: John of San Diego, CA; Nancy (Jerry) Pickering of Greece, NY; and Michael of Scotland. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Eric, Sharon, Alyssa, Nick, Travis, Seth, Katie, Alex and Sarah. Carol's family will receive friends at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic, CT on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. Funeral procession will depart funeral home at 10:00 a.m. for Funeral Mass that will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at St. Margaret Church, Rte. 14, Scotland, CT.
