Carole E. (Sadeski) Jones

Carole (Sadeski) Jones, 80, of Willimantic, died Friday January 12, 2018 at Hartford Hospital. She was born in Willimantic, the daughter of the late Carl and Anna (Duda) Sadeski. Carole was a lifelong resident of Willimantic and a graduate of Windham High in 1955. She retired from Papa Gino?s and for many years she was a member of the Willimantic Paints and Pallet Club. Carole enjoyed going to tag sales and flea markets and if you had a tag sale in the last 40 years chances are she was there. Carole is survived by her children, Lori Mather of Columbia, Cindy Morrissette and her husband Mike of Scotland, Douglas Jones and his wife Debora of Potomac, MD and Steve Jones and his wife Lynn of San Marcos, CA; eight grandchildren, Stephanie Dominello, Melanie Mather, Haley Mather, Bethany Ventura, Julie Billingsley, Brian Piernikowski, Alexandria Jones and Kaitlyn Jones; five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her cat Molly, her faithful and comforting companion. She was predeceased by two sisters, Madeline DeStefano and Joan Ouellet. The family thanks the staff at Hartford Health Care at Home and the many doctors and nurses that provided care as her health declined over the last few years. Carole?s family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday January 17, 2018 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195), Willimantic. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday January 18, 2018 at 10:00am at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St., Willimantic, with assembly at Church.
