Willimantic - Carol Ann (Hurlburt) Bill passed away peacefully at home among loved ones on Monday January 21, 2013. Born on February 12, 1938 in Hartford, CT she was the daughter of the late Edward Hurlburt and Gertrude (Fontaine) Tyler. Carol worked at a variety of places in the Windham Area throughout her lifetime; however her favorite occupation was as a devoted and loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother "GiGi" and aunt. She was predeceased by her former husband and father of her children: Bryan H. Bill. Carol is survived by her four sons and their wives and families; Kevin E. Bill and Barbara Kozin of Lebanon; Bryan H. and Doralyn Bill of Willimantic; Timothy J. Bill of Willimantic; and Cory A. and Lisa Bill of Mansfield; her three daughters and their husbands and families: Sherry R. and Edward Beckwith of Hampton; Lisa C. and Robert Noel of Chaplin; and Carol J. and Ronald Holman of South Windham. Additionally: Carol is survived by sixteen grandchildren: Melissa, Erin, Bryan III, T.J., Gregory, Josh, Amy, Adam, Randy, Eric, Austin, Bryana, Anthony, Peyton, Corey and Cory Jr., ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Carol "Dolly" is survived by her brothers and their families: Edward T. and Linda Hurlburt of AZ; Richard and Terri Hurlburt of MI; Jeffrey Hurlburt and Michael Hurlburt of Cromwell and by her sisters and their families: Gloria Moisuk of East Hampton; Nancy and Ted Doyle of Mystic; Karen Gardner of TX; Susan and Sid Bloemfeld of CA; Denise and Art Ebert of FL. She was predeceased by her sister Barbara LaVassuer of CO. The family wants to give a special thank you to Timmy, Eric, Amy and Windham Area Hospice for their loving care and attention at a very difficult time. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday Jan. 24th between 12:00 and 1:00pm at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic followed by a short eulogy.
