Chuck was a devoted fisherman who spent countless hours on his boat, “Lorna Anne.” During his retirement he was the captain of the Sabino Steamboat in Mystic. He was a man who loved working with his hands. Whether it was crafting beautiful furniture in his home workshop or repairing automobiles, his passion for woodworking and cars was evident in every project he undertook. Chuck was a former race car driver in the 1970’s and won many trophies. He raced throughout CT, MA and NY. He also enjoyed watching the NASCAR races in-person and on television. His teasing, joking manner will be greatly missed by his family and he will forever be in their hearts.
To honor Chuck’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. We invite you to please privately celebrate Chuck’s memory in your own ways. We know that he will be with us all in spirit.
