Camille Karin (Albaitis) Gaucher, 58, of Windham, CT. Karin died Friday, September 14th, 2012 after a long illness. Karin was born in Newark, NJ and was raised in Seymour, CT. She met her husband of 35 years, Chip, at Central Connecticut State University and resided and worked in Willimantic/Windham, CT. She was a teacher at St. Mary-St. Joseph's School in Willimantic for over 25 years. She had a special gift for teaching and made a lasting impact on all of her students. Karin leaves behind her husband, Chip, and three children, Ben Gaucher and his fiancAC. Kim Smith of Windham, Erin Paradis and her husband Evan of Vernon, and Dan Gaucher of Windham, her father, Leonard Albaitis of Seymour, her sister Lynn Maloney and her husband Edward, her sister Maureen Hamel and her husband David, and her brother Tim Albaitis, several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind 3 close friends, Dotty, Linda and Claire. She was predeceased by her mother, Geraldine Albaitis. Calling hours will be Tuesday, September 18th from 6-8pm at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic and her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 19th at 11am at St. Mary's Church, 46 Valley St, Willimantic.
