C. Eddie Brown

C. Eddie Brown, 74, of East Hartford, formerly of Willimantic, husband of the late Phyllis (Johnstone) Brown, died Thursday June 5, 2003 in Manchester. He was born February 17, 1929 in Coventry, son of the late Frank and Grace (VonDeck) Brown and had lived in Willimantic most of his life. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and prior to his retirement was employed for many years at Jones & Laughlin Steel in Willimantic. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Geraldine Brown of Waterbury, 2 sisters and their husbands, Carol and Rene Plourde of Willimantic, Patricia and Otto Ausburger of Lebanon, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister and brother-in-law, Beverly and Robert Bolduc. Funeral services and burial will be private in the New Willimantic Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
