Bruce Z. Clay

Bruce Z. Clay, 50, of Willimantic, husband of Loretta (Thornton) Clay, died Thursday Oct. 14, 2004 at the Windham Hospital. He was born March 6, 1954 in New London. Bruce was most recently employed at the Franklin Mushroom Farm. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his stepson Marcus Thornton of Waterbury, his father Bruce Clay and step mother Dorothy Fields of CA., his mother and stepfather Dorothy Lee Bradshaw and Timothy Bradshaw of CA., a brother Robert Clay of R.I., 4 sisters, Bernice Lacy and her husband Lamarr of CA., Rose Mack of CA., and Beatrice Clay and Louise Clay both of R.I., and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandmother Elizabeth Betty Armstrong and by a brother Randolph Clay of R.I. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Wednesday from 11:00 to 12:00 with funeral services beginning at 12:00.
