Blanca (Berger) Ryan

Blanca Ryan (Berger), age 101, passed?away on August 16, 2016. She spent her childhood in Sands Point, Long Island and lived most of her life in Storrs, CT. During that time, Blanca worked at UConn as an executive secretary, first to the Dean of Arts & Sciences, and later to the Provost of the university. Blanca was predeceased by her husband of 72 years, professor Francis E. Ryan. She leaves her daughter Jean Alfano and?husband Dr. Bart Alfano of Dover, MA and her grandson Michael Alfano and his family of Tribeca, NY. Services will be private.
