Beverly Ann (Bellavance) Anthony, 80, of Columbia, CT, wife of the late Joel Anthony, died on October 29, 2020. She was born on February 28,1940 to Henry and Lucille Bellavance. Beverly was an elementary teacher for many years. She was an avid murder mystery reader and true crime consumer before it was cool. Beverly enjoyed watching The Price is Right, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy daily. She enjoyed reminiscing about her beloved Red Sox and Giants even during their worst seasons. Beverly loved animals, especially dogs. Beverly is survived by three children, Michele McCarthy and her husband, Kevin; Stephen and his wife Denette; and her youngest son, Lynwood; grandchildren, Spencer, Connor, Zachary, Bridget, Mckenna, and Jordyn; brother, Richard Bellavance and his wife Carol; and sister, Candy and her husband Bill Deason. Joel and Beverly are also survived by their dear, life-long friends, Al and Judy Vertefeuille. There are no calling hours. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
