Betty Ann (Clark) Cyr, 92, was called home Tuesday night surrounded by her family. She was born February 12, 1933 at home in Pomfret, Vermont, a daughter of the late Maynard and Dora (Greenwood) Clark; and one of fourteen children.

Betty married her long-time love, Roland J Cyr Sr on February 14th, 1953. She was a member of St. Joseph Church of Willimantic and a homemaker. Betty has visited every state in the USA with her family, except Hawaii. Her favorite music was country western, however, she sang along to all genres when inspired. She was known for making her families’ favorite homemade dinners. Her kitchen was always warmed with the recipes she shared.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Roland J. Cyr Sr., her oldest son, Roland J. Cyr Jr., her daughter-in-law, Helen Cyr, Grandaughter Virginia Cyr & Grandsons Timothy J. Cyr & Chiko B. Patel.

She is survived by her brother Norman Clark; daughter-in-law Susan Cyr, three sons, Roger and wife Patricia, Mark, David and his wife Diana and two daughters Cheryl Ausburger and her husband Greg, and Michelle Charafeddine and her husband Mohamad as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
