Betsy M. Gonzalez

Betsy M. (Delear) Gonzalez of Windham, CT, was born November 25, 1955 in Hartford and passed away May 13, 2011 after a long fight with cancer. She was comforted by her daughters Danielle and Kelly Voight and her husband Norbert Gonzalez Jr. Betsy had a fulfilling teaching career for over twenty years and retired from Windham Center School this past fall. She loved working with kids and helped shape many young minds into strong independent thinkers. Betsy also loved her grandkids and treasured her time with them, Andrew, Deanna, Illiana, Adalyse, Aden and Joel. She is also survived by her family Marion, David, Janet, James, Susan, Andy, Kathy, Joey, Daisy, BG, Jess and her loving dog Charger. We look forward to sharing memories of Betsy with all at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Thursday May 19, 2011 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. On Friday at 1:00pm a graveside service will be held at Windham Center Cemetery, Rte 203, Windham. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, P. O.
