Bethaney Boucher Obituary
Bethaney Ann Boucher, “Bee”, 34 years young, entered Heaven’s gate into the waiting arms of her mother on November 2, 2020. Born and raised in Willimantic, Bethaney was the beloved daughter of Alan and Karen (Chartier) Boucher and devoted big sister to Benjamin Boucher. Bethaney loved to dance in the rain and danced her way through life and into the hearts of all who knew her. She loved poetry (especially artist Melody Lee), bonfires, motorcycle rides to the beach (for some vitamin sea) and road trips with friends. She was a kind and generous soul, who would never allow a friend to be alone in the darkness. Bethaney was a 2003 graduate of Windham Tech, where she studied Health Tech. She was a staunch advocate and caregiver to individuals with diverse abilities while working as a Program Coordinator at the Supportive Living Group of Danielson. More recently she was excited to help with the renovation and reopening of the Lebanon Green Store. In addition to her father and brother, she leaves to mourn her loss, Mrs. Helen Boucher “ Granny”, her father’s partner – Jackie Hollis, Uncle James Boucher, Grandmother Mable Higham, Uncles Donald and Jimmy Chartier, Jerry Higham , Kevin Dubois, her besties and soul sisters – Ashley Elliott and Ashlee Gonzalez, godsons – Junior, Gabriel, and Joshua as well as numerous cousins and  an abundance of dear friends. Bethaney would want all to know that she is “LOVING YOU WITH THE MUCHNESS”. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made directly on her “Go Fund Me” page at https://www.gf.me/u/y93p9s . A funeral mass will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, January 23, 2021, at St. Joseph’s Church, 99 Jackson Street, Willimantic, CT 06226.
