Bertha G. Mayer

Bertha Grace Syphers (Smallwood) Mayer, 73, passed away on Sunday June 1, 2003 after an extended illness. She was a lifetime Connecticut resident, daughter of Ralph and Bertha Syphers, formerly of Glastonbury, and sister of Lorraine Keeney, formerly of Salem. She is survived by 2 sons and 2 daughters, William "Bud" Smallwood of Scotland, Robert Smallwood, Kathleen Smallwood Robbins and Christine Smallwood, all of Florida. She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the Potter Funeral Home.
