With infinite sorrow I announce the death of my son, Berek Rosenberg Marcus (1977-2020). After years of struggle, he lost his battle against diabetes and its devastating consequences. He was smart, funny, loving, generous to a fault, creative, outgoing, and brave, so very brave. He is survived by many friends, by his life partners, Jason and Rebecca Cook, who loved him and supported him always, and by his mother, Sophie Rosenberg. His father, William Lightner Marcus, and his brother, Benjamin Hayman Marcus, await him on the other side.
