Beatrice M. Wheeler, 78, of Coventry, wife of the late Thomas Wheeler, died Saturday, November 14, 2009 in Windham. She was born October 24, 1931 in Mansfield, the daughter of Christian and Blanche (Tranka) Klocker and had lived in Coventry for 56 years. She was a communicant of St. Mary Church in Coventry and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of V.F.W. Post 1724 in Willimantic for many years. She is survived by four children, Sandra Wheeler of Windham, James Wheeler of Coventry, Kathleen Pointer of Bolton and Mary Mills of Windham, two brothers, David Klocker of Windsor Locks and Carl Klocker of Ellington, eight grandchildren, Miguel Jimenez, Angela Vargas, Danielle Pointer, Jackie Pointer, Jessica Mills, Mark Mills, Jennifer Mills and Gordon Mills, three great grandchildren, Dovente, Yenideht and Jorge, several nieces and nephews. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 1600 Main St., Coventry with assembly at the church.
