Beatrice "Bea" Stone

Beatrice "Bea" Racine Stone, of Hampton, died Sunday February 15, 2015 at Douglas Manor. She was born May 17, 1922 in Sherbrooke, Canada and moved to Willimantic, CT at three months old. She leaves behind her husband, Clarence "Can" Stone, who were married April 7, 1945. She was a communicant at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Hampton and was active in the women's auxiliary of the Hampton Fire Dept. She was a dance instructor at the Hampton Elementary School. Beatrice was devoted to living at the Stone Bros. Farm and raising her three sons; Norman, who predeceased her, Raymond and his wife LuAnne Stone of West Suffield, and Robert and his wife Elaine Stone of Fort Myers Beach, FL. She was a gentle grandmother to seven grandchildren; Chris, David, Patrick, Bethanie, Laurie, Andrew and Erin. She also had five great grandchildren; Aidan, Ava, Brendan, Cora and John.
