Beatrice M. Lemire

Beatrice M. Lemire, 98, of Willimantic, wife of the late Clarence F. Lemire, died Friday, May 25, 2012 at the Windham Hospital. She was born December 2, 1913 in Willimantic, the daughter of Winfield and Anna Mae (Fuller) Andrews and had lived in Willimantic all her life. She had been employed at the former Electro-Motive Manufacturing Co. and the American Thread Co. She was most recently employed at the Windham High School cafeteria. Beatrice was a volunteer at the Windham Hospital for many years. She is survived by three sons and their wives, Kenneth and Eleanor Lemire of Townshend, VT, Clayton and Pennie Lemire of Sacramento, CA and Larry and Cheryl Lemire of Willimantic, eight grandchildren, Susan Raiola and her husband Robert, Carol Landry and her husband Michael, Kenneth Lemire and his wife Nancy, Sheila Ashburn and her husband Robert, April Lemire, Larry Lemire Jr. and his wife Tonya, Keith Lemire and Kim Deloreto and her husband Ted, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Beatrice was predeceased by a grandson Steven Lemire and a great great grandson Robert Raiola Jr. Her family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday, May 27, 2012 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. Willimantic with funeral services beginning at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be private in the Old Willimantic Cemetery.
