Beatrice Elaine Hartley

Beatrice E. Hartley, 83, of North Windham, wife of the late Donald Hartley, died Thursday September 16, 2004 at the Windham Hospital. She was born April 2, 1921 in Palmer, MA, the daughter of Elmer and Alice (Crosby) Brown and had lived in Windham most of her life. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother to her family. She is survived by 3 children and their spouses, Judith and Robert Fontanella of North Windham, Richard and Gette Hartley of Coventry, Gale and Raymond Abbott of North Windham,a daughter-in-law, Patricia Hartley of North Windham, 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Kenneth Hartley, a daughter, Sandy Hartley and a grandson, Raymond Abbott Jr. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195; Willimantic on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 3 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Christian Life Assembly, 143 Windham Rd.
