Beatrice "Betty" Armstrong

Beatrice "Betty" (Tompkins) Armstrong of Windham, died in the comfort of her home on Thursday March 29, 2012. She was the wife of the late Robert E. Armstrong, the sixth child of Katherine and Leonard Tompkins and a lifelong Windham resident. Betty will always be admired by her family for her unconditional love, support and strength of character. She will be greatly missed by her children, Lynn Armstrong of Windham, Robin Tuczkewycz of Scotland, Susan and Gary Lasko of Poughkeepsie, NY; and the loves of her life, her grandchildren, Samantha and Emalie Lasko and Roman and Natalka Tuczkewycz. She is also survived by a brother Jake Tompkins and his wife MaryLou and a sister in law Marilyn Armstrong and her partner Sue. A favorite of many nieces and nephews, "Aunt Bet" will be remembered fondly. Services and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
