Barbara Eldridge Obituary
Barbara Woodward Eldridge, 82, of Scotland, CT, wife of the late Charles Eldridge, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Douglas Manor. She was born November 14, 1939, the daughter of the late Jonathan and Mary Woodward of Columbia, CT.
Barbara resided in Scotland for most of her life, as a farm wife and a mom. She loved tending to her flower gardens, feeding her birds and tending to her dogs. Barbara retired from the State of Connecticut after 25 years of services.
She is survived by her brother Jon Woodward and his wife Barbara, her three children, Susan Eldridge Burell and husband Brian, Tammy Eldridge and Charles (Butch) Eldridge. Barbara was also the proud grandmother of Joshua Montgomery, Stephanie Ledford and husband Brandon, Amy Walsh her husband Nicholas, Alyssa Montgomery, Wesley Magnan, Cheyenne Goncalves her husband Jeremy, Brandon Eldridge, Brian Eldridge, Shareena Morrison and Five great grandchildren. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and many lifelong friends.
There are no calling hours. Her burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations my be made to Scotland Volunteer Fire House in memory of her.
