Barbara B. Warren

Barbara (Buck) Warren, 91, of Storrs, widow of Walter C. Warren, died Monday April 24, 2006 at Mansfield Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born Jan. 7, 1915 in Worcester, MA. the daughter of Edwin and Mabel (Oaks) Buck and was a lifelong Ashford / Storrs resident. Barbara was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by 2 daughters, Eleanore Gaynor and her husband Richard of Storrs and Barbara Warren of Storrs; a sister Sally Alapi of Ashford, 4 grandchildren, Anita, Walter, Sandra and Richard; 5 great grandchildren, Eric, Rachel, Dana, Ryan and Caitlyn; a brother in law and sister in law Donald and Norma Warren of Storrs, several nieces and nephews and her loving family at Mansfield Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was predeceased by sisters Jane Quimby, Priscilla Whitehouse and Kate Card. There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Friday April 28th at 2:00pm in Pink Cemetery, Ravine Rd., Storrs.
