Barbara Gaudreau Taylor "Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Sister" Barbara Gaudreau Taylor, 63, of Mansfield, formerly of Willimantic, passed away on September 27, 2003 at Mansfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, after battling for 34 years with Multiple Sclerosis. Prior to her illness, Barbara was a well known employee in the cash office of Willimantic Stop & Shop. In her days when able, she enjoyed writing poetry, music, dancing and skiing. Through her illness she touched numerous lives with her courage, strength and unfailing faith in God. Barbara will be greatly missed by her daughter, Brenda (Niles) Spencer and her husband Terry of Willimantic, her grandchildren, TJ, Jennifer and Suzanne of Willimantic, two sisters, Mary Lou Laflamme and her husband Eddy of Willimantic, Susan Gilbert of Columbia and her brother-in-law George Gilbert. She is also survived by several aunts, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Her family invites all family and friends to attend a Memorial Mass on Thursday, October 2, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 46 Valley St. Willimantic in celebration of a wonderful woman who has now found peace.
