Barbara Elizabeth Brown "Bobbie"

Barbara Elizabeth Brown, "Bobbie", 90, of Mansfield Center, passed away on Thursday August 7th, 2014 at 10:07pm. Barbara was born in Willimantic on April 15, 1924. She was predeceased by her husband William Francis Brown who passed away on December 6, 2000. Barbara is survived by her sister Doris E. Surridge, her daughter Cheryl Chamberlain and her grandson Clint Chamberlain. Barbara drew her day to day strength from her foundational faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Her walk with the Lord started when she was 40. Every aspect of her life as a mother, homemaker and artist was motivated to emulate the Lord and to share that faith with everyone she encountered on a daily basis. She no doubt is with the Lord in heaven. Those of us who remain, both family and friends are better than before because of her affect on our lives. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday August 17, 2014 at 5:00pm in the main sanctuary of Christian Life Assembly of God, 143 Windham Road, Willimantic, CT. There are no calling hours.
