Barbara Bouier Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, who left us on July 09, 2024, after a beautifully lived life. Full of love, laugher, and resilience, she touched the lives of all who knew her.
Barbara was born on October 01, 1942, in Dothan, Alabama to the late John Ozzie Bouier and Beatrice (Burton) Bouier.
Barbara enjoyed participating in the Special Olympics, bowling, dancing and was an honorary member of Red Hats Society. She was a diva at heart and loved to dress and coordinate her outfits with fun jewelry, scarves, purses, and hats.
Barbara loved her extended family where she spent most of her adult life, at Card St Group Home, Willimantic, CT.
Barbara is preceded in death by her baby sister, Wanda Bouier Boos. Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Joyce Bouier Zeigler (Dwight) and Frances Bouier Davis (Angelo), Aunt Frances Bradwell along with a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and the family of Card St Group Home.
Barbara will be laid to rest at the Windham Center Cemetery, 219 Windham Road, Windham, CT at 9:00 AM on Thursday, July 18, 2024.
