Arthur T. Roberts

Arthur T. Roberts, 67, of Willimantic, husband of Barbara (Reil) Roberts, died Wednesday April 10, 2002 at the Windham Hospital. He was born November 12, 1934 in Willimantic, the son of the late Ernest and Josephine (Cymbor) Roberts and was a lifelong resident. He enlisted in the Army during the Korean Conflict and spent his career as a journeyman carpenter and member of local #24. Mr. Roberts was also an independent inventor and patent holder. In addition to his wife he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Susan Gamache of Willimantic and their children, Megan and Matthew, a daughter, Debra Germuska of Colorado and her children, Monique, Andrew and Chelsea. He was predeceased by a brother, Gene Roberts. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St. Willimantic with assembly at the church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor?s choice. Arrangements are through the Potter Funeral Home.
