Arthur D. Ricard

Arthur D. Ricard, 51, of Hampton, died Thursday January 26, 2012. He is the son of Norman and Isabelle (Thibodeau) Ricard of Storrs. Arthur was employed by the State of Connecticut DMR Department for over 30 years. He helped many families with respite care and special needs. In addition to his parents, Arthur is survived by his siblings Norman Raymond Ricard and his son Jon, Louise Eldredge and her husband Mike, Denis Ricard and his wife Wanda, Elizabeth Ricard and her son Rio Grover, Phil Ricard and his wife Debbie and their daughter Elizabeth, and Roger Ricard and his wife Eureka; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. His family will receive relatives and friends on Friday February 3, 2012 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, with a service beginning at 3:00pm at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic.
