Arthur C. Lussier Jr., 67, of Water St. Canterbury, died unexpectedly on Saturday Aug. 16, 2003 at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital in New London. He was born Oct. 8, 1935 in Plainfield the son of the late Dorina (Prince) Marsan and Theodore Arthur Lussier. He was a loving and devoted family man. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Beatrice (Richards) Lussier, his children Ted Lussier and his wife Kathy of Clinton, Jon Lussier and his wife Linda of Voluntown, and Bobbi Orlomoski and her husband Steve of Canterbury, 7 grandchildren; Ernie, Andy and Melissa Lussier of Clinton, Nicole and Mike Farano of Jewitt City, and Caitlyn and Rachel Orlomoski of Canterbury, a great granddaughter Izabella Pelletier of Jewett City, a brother Richard Marsan of Moosup, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Lussier had been employed at American Standard in Wauregan as a caster, retiring when the plant closed. He really enjoyed woodworking and has made some beautiful pieces of furniture. Since the early 1960's he has cut firewood on his property and burned it though last winter. He was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Mansfield. A Memorial Service will be held on Aug. 31, 2003 at 2:00pm at the First United Methodist Church, 29 Puddin La., Mansfield Center, CT. There are no calling hours. Please omit flowers.
