Arthur Kerouack, 79, of North Windham, died Thursday, March 23, 2006 in Windham. He was born in Wauregan on February 21, 1927 to the late Arthur and Mae (Govern) Kerouack. He left high school in 1943 to join the U. S. Navy and was honorably discharged in 1945 and returned to finish high school. On May 30, 1950 he married Vivian (LeClair) in St. Joseph Church in Willimantic. They were married 52 years before she passed away in 2002. He worked for the A&P Grocery Stores for more than 40 years and was most recently employed at the Franklin Package Store. A communicant of St. Joseph Church, he was also a Lifetime Member of B.P.O.E. Lodge 1311 where he served in numerous capacities throughout the years. The Boston Red Sox, and the University of Connecticut, especially the girl s basketball team, have lost their best fan. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by an infant daughter, Karin. Survivors include cousins Bernice Kerouack of Willimantic, Lucille Seretto of East Hartford, Donald LeBonte of Moosup, Margaret Lazimoniere of Moosup, Arthur Moffit of Ft. Meyers, FL, Brian Duffy of Hebron, James Duffy of Windham, Audrey Mordavsky of Vernon and an aunt, Sophia Duffy of Windham. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, April 1, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St., Willimantic with assembly at the church.
