Arthur G. Joslyn Jr

Arthur G. Joslyn Jr., 77,of Storrs, formerly of Willimantic, died Wednesday May 16, 2007 at Windham Hospital. He was born Sept. 28, 1929 in Stafford Springs, the son of Arthur and Elsie (Bentley) Joslyn. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a proud Operating Engineer for 51 years. Arthur was a former Stock Car driver and was a member of the Willimantic Elks Lodge. He was an avid fisherman and more recently enjoyed playing bingo. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Hazel (Gaudette) Joslyn, three sons, James and Liz, Jeffrey and Jackie and Arthur and Dorothy all of Willimantic; seven grandchildren, A.J., Jackie, Jessica, Katelyn, Samantha, Justin and Jared; a great granddaughter Seneca and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Fern Halloway. His family will receive friends at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Sunday between 2:00 and 4:00pm.
