Arthur J. Gamache

Arthur J. Gamache, 69, of Columbia, husband of Lidija (Logins) Gamache, died Friday June 1, 2018 at Windham Hospital. He was born in Willimantic, the son of the late Aurel and Irene (Chouinard) Gamache. Arthur enjoyed traveling, talking to people and was active with the Boy Scouts. He was a member of the Lions Club, Knights of Columbus, French Club and the Columbia Senior Center. Arthur was also a board member with the State of Connecticut Credit Union and he will be missed at his weekly card games with his cousins. In addition to his wife Lidija, he is survived by a son Christopher Gamache and his fianc?e Christina; brother Larry Gamache and his wife Mariel; three sisters Gloria Gamache, Aurela Gamache and Linda Gamache; a granddaughter Vivian and a step granddaughter Dakota; brother-in-law Ozzie; and several nieces and nephews. Arthur?s family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday June 5, 2018 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195), Willimantic. His Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday June 6, 2018 at St. Mary Church, 46 Valley St., Willimantic, meeting directly at church. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham.
