Arthur C. Bruneau, 77, husband of Shirley (Seaton) Bruneau of Columbia, died Thursday August 28, 2003 at Manchester Hospital. He served as a tail gunner in the Army Air Corps during World War II. In addition to his wife he leaves his mother Edna Perkins of Coventry, 2 daughters, Donna Lussier of Hebron and her husband Fred, who was like a son to him and Patricia Bruneau of South Windsor, a very special daughter. He also leaves grandchildren Jim and Karen Lussier of Ashford, Sue and Ron Mike of Columbia, Debbie and Paul Kratochvil of Union along with several great grandchildren who were his pride and joy. He also leaves a brother, Kenneth White of Tolland, 2 sisters, Shirley Bigelow of North Windham and Janice Schoen of Glastonbury along with several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the First Congregational Church of Coventry, 1171 Main St. Coventry on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Nathan Hale Cemetery in Coventry. His family will receive friends at the church 1 hour prior to the service. A reception in the church hall will follow the burial. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to MARC Inc., 376 Middle Turnpike, Manchester, CT 06040, the first Congregational Church of Coventry, the American Cancer Society, 238 West Town St. Norwich, CT 06360 or VNA East, 34 Ledgebrook Dr. Mansfield Center, CT 06250.
