Arnold “Arnie” Edward Postemski, 62, of Lebanon, loving husband and father of two, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 8, 2021.
Arnie was born on September 23, 1958, in Putnam, CT to the late Victor F. Postemski Sr and Helen B. (Awizyc) Postemski. In March of 1978, he married Carolyn (Arson) Postemski. They raised twin sons, Victor and Jason Postemski.
Arnie loved spending time with his animals on their mini farm. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter. Arnie was a proud member of the NRA and the Fin Fur Feather Club in Chaplin, CT. He was a Chief Instructor for the Connecticut Hunter Safety Education course where he would teach others about hunter safety and the law. Arnie worked for the Town of Windham, CT for over 30 years.
Arnie is survived by his wife Carolyn; two sons, Victor Postemski and Jason Postemski and his wife Erin; granddaughters, Peyton and Hailee Postemski; sister Sharon Postemski, and brothers, Robert and Danny Postemski and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Wayne, Vic Jr. and Gary Postemski.
Arnie’s family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, May 13, 2021 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Willimantic, CT 06226. A private Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi, in Lebanon. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the ASPCA or Lebanon Volunteer Fire Department.
