Arnis "Arnie" Bubucis

Arnis ("Arnie") Bubucis, 68, of Windham, CT, passed away suddenly on March 21st 2015. Arnie was born on October 10, 1946 in Ansbach, Germany and raised in Norwich CT. He lived a full and happy life surrounded by friends and family. After serving in the Army he earned a degree from Eastern Connecticut State University. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Arnie is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Cindy, his three children; Lisa (Greg) Stenz of Lincoln University, PA, Heidi (Jonathan) Goldstein of Norwalk CT, Neal (Lea) Bubucis of Seymour, CT and his brother Ivars (Pat) Bubucis and nephew Ryan (Danielle) Bubucis. Close to his heart were his treasured grandchildren who brought him great joy; Addison (7), Sabrina (6) and Maya (3), Jack (5 months). He was predeceased by his daughter, Wendy, parents, Arvids and Zenta Bubucis. A fond farewell to our beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend. We will never forget his big hugs and big smile. We will never forget his true enjoyment of life, especially on a boat with a beer in hand... .. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Special Wishes, P.O. Box 391, Oakville, CT 06779.
