Arlene W. Perkins, 85, of Willimantic, wife of the late Robert Perkins, died Thursday, March 4, 2004 at the Windham Hospital. She was born March 23, 1918 in Willimantic, Ct, a daughter of the late Clarence and Ida (Brown) Wheaton. Mrs. Perkins worked at Electro Motive Mfg. Co. in Willimantic for much of her life. She is survived by three sons, Robert and Gary Perkins, both of Willimantic, and Nate Perkins of North Windham, one daughter, Jean P. Montalvo of Deland, FL, two sisters, Emily Fisher of North Windham and Hazel Jurkovics of Willimantic, 7 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses , 96 Quarry St. , Willimantic, on Sunday at 7:30 pm. The Perkins family will receive friends for one half hour prior to the service. Internment will be private . The Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. Willimantic, is assisting with arrangements.
