Arlene G. Iczky

Arlene G. Reviczky, 80, of Ashford, wife of the late John P. Reviczky, died Monday morning Aug. 15, 2005 at her home. She was born Oct. 9, 1924 in Coventry. Arlene worked for over 30 years at the University of Connecticut in the old book store and at the field house. She was a member of the Auxiliary of the Ashford Volunteer Fire Dept. for many years. Arlene was an avid Red Sox fan and gardener and loved birds and knitting. She is survived by 2 sons and daughters in law, Gary and Nancy Reviczky of Dunnellon, FL. and Norman and Darlene Reviczky of Ashford; grandchildren, Tara Rogers of Ashford, John Reviczky of Ashford, Justin, Alexander and Jordan Reviczky of Florida; great grandsons, Thomas and Tyler Rogers of Ashford, a brother John Porter of Mansfield and a special friend Jaye Fletcher. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Tuesday between 6:00 and 8:00pm. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10:30am at the United Baptist Church of Ashford, Rte. 44 Warrenville section of Ashford, with the Rev. Tom Wallis officiating. Burial will follow in Woodward Cemetery, Ashford. In lieu of flowers, his family suggests memorial donations to the John Reviczky Memorial Fund c/o Ashford Volunteer Fire Dept., P.O.
