Arlene Gamache Autry

Willimantic, CT /Naples, FL Arlene (Gamache) Autry, died unexpectedly at Naples Community Hospital on Friday, September 19, 2008. She was born November 19, 1941 in Windham, CT to Arthur and Lillian Gamache. She was raised in Chaplin, CT and graduated from Windham High School. In July of 1960 she married Charles Autry. Arlene was employed by the State of Connecticut until her retirement in 1987. She has lived in Naples, Florida since 1992. In addition to her husband of 48 years she leaves two daughters and their husbands, Charlene and Fred Perry of Scotland, CT, Donna and Joe Rupar of Willimantic, CT, five grandchildren and was very excitedly looking forward to the arrival of her first great grandchild. She also leaves her sister Phyllis Stensland and her husband Carl of Hampton, CT, her brother Walter Gamache and his wife MaryJane of Boynton Beach, Florida, a sister-in-law, Helen Williams and her husband Wendell of Wade, NC, several nephews and a niece. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St, Rte. 195, Willimantic on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. There will be a gathering at the funeral home on Friday at 10:15 a.m. prior to the procession to her Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church, Willimantic.
