April Christine (Trimble) Dean Cherished daughter, much loved sister, beloved wife and mother April Christine (Trimble) Dean age 37, of Mansfield, ended her journey of this life on December 30, 2010. She was a valiant warrior in her two and a half year battle against ovarian cancer. She died in her home with her husband's arms around her and her family and friends surrounding them. April leaves behind her husband of 17 years Jeffrey Dean, her daughter Sara age 15 and her son Logan age 14 all of Mansfield Center, CT. She is also survived by her parents Logan and Dranda Trimble of Storrs Mansfield, CT, her sister Jessica and brother-in-law Gil Gioia of Newington, CT along with her young nephews Dylan Taylor, Clay Taylor and her young niece Elisa Taylor also of Newington, CT. April is also loved and remembered by her husband's parents, Byron and Carla Dean of Ashford, CT and her sister-in-law Kalyn and their extended family members who cherished and cared for her deeply. April also leaves behind many friends and family from Windham and Tolland Counties in Connecticut as well as Paducah, Kentucky, Alabama, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Florida. April's funeral will be held at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Thursday January 6th at 11:00am. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Mansfield Center Cemetery.
