Antoinette "Toni" P. Ward, 90, of Willimantic, wife of the late George Ward, died Thursday September 23, 2004 at Douglas Manor in Windham. She was born September 8, 1914 in Willimantic, the daughter of Andrew and Sophie (Kossar) Plesz and had lived in Willimantic all her life. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Willimantic and was employed for many years at the Electro-Motive Manufacturing Company in Willimantic. She is survived by her daughter, Joan (Ward) Tetreault and her husband Leon Tetreault Jr. of Columbia, her son, Bill "Duke" G. Ward and his companion, Peggy Curtis of Windham, 3 grandchildren, Jennifer Tetreault , Heather Gilbert and Hillary Ward, 2 great grandchildren, Victoria and Charlotte. She was predeceased by a grandson, Christopher Tetreault. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic on Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. prior to the procession to her 11:00am Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St. Willimantic. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Douglas Manor Recreation Fund, 103 North Rd., Windham, CT 06280.
