Antoinette Lachapelle

Antoinette (Osga) LaChapelle, 77, of Columbia, wife of George LaChapelle, died Saturday Sept. 1, 2012 at Douglas Manor, Windham. She was born May 20, 1935 in Norwich, the daughter of Anthony and Stacia Osga. For many years, Antoinette was employed as a paralegal / secretary. She was a communicant of St. Columba Church. What she enjoyed most was spending time with her grandchildren and being involved in their lives. In addition to her husband George, she is survived by a son Donald and his wife Ramona of Cincinnati, Ohio; a daughter Joan Rigney and her husband Francis "Rand" of San Clemente, CA; two brothers, Joseph Osga of Pensacola, FL and James Osga of Guilford, CT; four grandchildren, Brian, Randy, Billy and Cathy and several nieces and nephews. There are no calling hours. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday Sept. 6th at 11:00am at St. Columba Church, intersection of Rte. 66 and Rte. 87, Columbia. Interment will be private.
