Anthony Joseph Valone

Anthony Joseph Valone passed away on February 1, 2018 at Saint Joseph Living Center. He was born at home in Willimantic on January 21, 1920. He was a veteran in World War two, and retired from Pratt and Whitney after many years. Anthony loved to travel, especially to Canada, Maine and Vermont. He was very active at the senior housing development where he lived, and enjoyed organizing parties and calling bingo for the other residents. Anthony is predeceased by his daughter Nancy Cyr. Anthony is survived by his wife Stella and daughter Patricia Vernon, his neice, Carole and husband Dennis Mildomme, three grandsons, five great grand-children, four great, great grand-children, two nephews and three nieces. There will be no services or calling hours. A mass will be said at St. Joseph Church at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Joseph Living Center, in particular, Olga and Pam for the wonderful care he received.
