Anthony S. Kilgus

Anthony (Tony) S. Kilgus, 39-year-old son of Frederick and Elaine Kilgus of Mansfield, CT passed away on September 6, 2015 at Yale New Haven Hospital, after developing a serious medical condition. Along with his parents he leaves behind his brother Thomas Kilgus, sister-in-law Jill and their children, Olivia and Aiden, of Manchester, CT. He also leaves behind his maternal grandmother, Lorraine (Decelles) Bassett of Storrs, CT. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Frederick and Frances (Tully) Kilgus and maternal grandfather, Gerard Decelles. Born on June 7, 1976, Anthony grew up in Mansfield and attended E.O. Smith High School. He was most recently employed by General Cable in Willimantic for the past 8 years. Tony had a long time passion for anything Star Wars, watching all kinds of sports, and had a wonderfully creative mind. The family would like to thank the ICU staff at Yale New Haven Hospital for the two weeks of compassionate care they provided for Tony and for the extraordinary efforts they put forth throughout his time of medical need.
