Annie E. Williams, 88, of Chaplin, died Sunday, July 9, 2023 at Douglas Manor. She was born in Willimantic, the daughter of the late Arthur and Florence (Grant) Neff.
Our beloved mother was a quiet lady who loved to take care of her family. No matter what challenges she faced, she always had a positive attitude and a bright smile. The one thing that I remembered about her was the way she used to love reading mystery books. No matter how many she read she would not pick out the same one twice. To me that was amazing.
Annie is survived by her two sons: Leonard Williams Jr. and Gerald Williams; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Friday, August 5, 2023 at 9:00am at the New Willimantic Cemetery.
