Anne E. (Young) Gorgone

Anne E. (Young) Gorgone, 94, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph Living Center on December 10, 2017. She was born April 28, 1923, in Coventry, CT, the daughter of the late Daniel and Alice (Hibbard) Young. Anne was married to the late Francis P. Gorgone, who passed away December 27, 1993. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Anne is survived by three children, Sharon Incandella and her husband Leonard of North Windham, Robert Gorgone of South Windham and Gary Gorgone of Willimantic; two sisters, Marion Coriaty of Manchester and Alice Falk of Onset, MA; eight grandchildren, Brian Nowyckyj, Jennifer Major, Maryann, Matthew, Michael and Dawn Gorgone, Jason Kiss and Bruce Garrison; and nineteen great grandchildren. Anne was predeceased by two daughters, Charlene Gorgone, Christine Gorgone, sister Ruth Loree, brothers, Walter Young, William Young and Harold Young, daughter in law Linda Gorgone and grandson Robert Gorgone, Jr. Anne had two wonderful caregivers who took care of her and loved her like family, Karleen Danoto and Samantha Gardnier along with their children and grandchildren. There are no calling hours. Anne?s Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday December 16, 2017 at 10:00am at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St., Willimantic, with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham.
