Anne Schupack

Anne (Bassok) Schupack of Farmington, CT formerly of Willimantic, CT died on Thursday, August 6, 2015. She was the widow of Edward Schupack. Born in Hartford, CT she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Sarah (Stein) Bassok. Anne was a graduate of Weaver High School and the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Hygiene. She was very active in her community as a volunteer for the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association, Windham Hospital, and the PTA of several schools. She was a Life Member of Hadassah and, for many years, the program chairman of the local chapter, and a former president of the Temple B'Nai Israel Sisterhood. Her family was the most important part of her life. She lovingly raised three daughters - Karen Reichel, Lynne (Paul) Shatsoff and Beth (Bernard) Schilberg; adored her eight grandchildren and delighted in her six great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Jack (Miriam) Bassok, her sister Minna Yogel, her sister-in-law Estelle Schupack, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 7, 2015 at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson Street, Willimantic, at 1:00 PM, with interment at Congregation B'Nai Israel Cemetery, Mansfield, CT. Shiva will be observed following the interment at the home of her daughter Beth Schilberg. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
