Anne Satriano Tucker, 60, died peacefully at St. Joseph Living Center on July 2, 2016. She was the loving wife of Thomas Tucker, the mother of Michael Tucker, both of North Windham and the daughter of Anita and the late Salvatore Satriano. Anne graduated from E.O. Smith High School and attended Saint Joseph College. Anne enjoyed being a Girl Scout, camping, beaches, her dogs and especially all young children. She worked at St. Mary Home in W. Hartford and then became an au pair to Beth Doran Putnam and Wendy Doran-Paley who continue as members of her extended family. For the past twenty two years she taught preschoolers at Mansfield Discovery Depot. Active in the early childhood education community at both the local and State levels, she also served on the Board of Directors of St. Joseph Living Center. For many years she was a lector and Eucharistic minister at St. Joseph Church. Anne was a member of Theta Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma and a member of the Curriculum of Hope Committee. In addition to her husband, son and mother, she leaves behind her brother Steven Satriano, his wife Juliann and their son Matthew. She also leaves her two aunts, Dr. Carol Guardo and Rosemary Malatesta, her step-son Christopher Tucker, his wife Tina and son Damien, sisters-in-law Cathy Pintavale, Barbara Healey and Peggy Maxfield and many cousins and friends. Her family expresses its gratitude for the exceptional and loving care that she received at St. Joseph Living Center. Anne?s family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday July 6, 2016, from 5:00pm ? 8:00 pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday. July 7, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St. Willimantic, with assembly at the church, burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham.
