Anne Luft, 99, of Hampton, formerly of Coventry, wife of the late Paul Luft, died Monday, January 06, 2014 in Windham. She was born August 21, 1914 in Brooklyn, NY and had lived in Coventry for many years before moving to Hampton. She was the manager of National Silk in Coventry until it closed. She enjoyed the Boston Red Sox, UConn women's basketball and trips to the casino. She is survived by a daughter and her husband Patricia and Nelson Bakken of Hampton, seven grandchildren, Lori Turner, Andrew Luft and Terri Luft, Nelson Bakken Jr. and Michael Bakken, Curtis Luft and Christopher Luft and 10 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by two sons, James and Paul Luft. A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 11:00 AM in Nathan Hale Cemetery, Lake St., Coventry. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements are through the Potter Funeral Home, Willimantic.
