Anna Olson

Anna Suchy Olson, of Mansfield Center, CT, passed on to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at the St. Joseph Living Center in Windham, CT. Anna was born September 13, 1915 to George and Julia (Hovance) Verbosky in Siggers, PA, the third of eleven children. Anna was predeceased by her two husbands, Henry Suchy and Victor Olson and her grandson Les Larned Jr. She is survived by her children Carole Larned, and Robert Henry Suchy and his wife Beth; five grandchildren; Sherry, Tom, and Robert Larned and his wife Jane, Mark and Eric Suchy; four great grandchildren Marissa, James and Olivia Larned, and Madison Chase. She is also survived by her two sisters Helen and Julie. The family would like to thank St. Joseph Living Center for the great care they gave Anna. She was president of the residents for the last six years. She was strong willed and loved life to the fullest. In lieu of flowers please donate to St. Mary Church, Willimantic or St. Joseph Living Center. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 8, 2016 at St. Mary Church, 46 Valley St. Willimantic. Calling hours will be held at 9:30 a.m. at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic, prior to the mass. Burial will follow the mass at St. Joseph Cemetery, Club Rd. Windham, CT.
