Ann Saucier Obituary
Ann L. Saucier, 79, of Willimantic, died Sunday, September 15, 2019 at Vanderman Place. She was the daughter of the late John and Gertrude (Hennessey) Peters. Ann enjoyed crafting, gardening, playing Suduko and solving math problems. She also enjoyed UCONN Women’s Basketball and most of all spending time with her family. Ann proudly went back to school while raising her children and obtained her Bachelor’s in Accounting. She later retired from the State of CT Revenue Services as a Revenue Examiner in 1997.
Ann is survived by three daughters, Karen Knauss and her husband Glen, Cindy Saucier and Patricia Chapman; five grandchildren, Jordan, John, Isabella, Shannon and Brian; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Henry Saucier. Ann’s family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Willimantic. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 11:00am at the Potter Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Pink Cemetery, Mansfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Paul’s Covenant Soup Kitchen, 220 Valley St., Willimantic, CT 06226.
