Angelo Passarello, 89, of Scotland, beloved husband of 66 years of Marie (Pisano) Passarello, died Tuesday March 22, 2005 in Windham. He was born June 10, 1915 in New York City and had lived in Scotland since 1928. He worked in the Civilian Conservation Corps during the 1930 s and was a poultry farmer all his life, working the family farm with his father and brother, Rudolph. Mr. Passarello was a communicant and former trustee of St. Joseph Church in Willimantic and a member of the Scotland Volunteer Fire Dept. He was a competitive pistol shooter and a semi-professional singer with a wonderful baritone voice. He often sang at St. Joseph Church and in the Town of Scotland minstrel show. In addition to his wife he is survived by 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Paula Passarello of North Franklin, Guy and Pauline Passarello of Scotland, a brother, Rudolph Passarello of Scotland, 2 grandchildren, Atty. Steven Paul Passarello and his wife Nicole of Altoona, PA, Dr. Deirdre Jennifer Osypuk and her husband Paul of Southwick, MA, 3 great grandchildren, Steven Angelo, Ashley Nicole and Cameron Michael. He was predeceased by a great grandson, Anthony John. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. There will be a gathering at the funeral home on Friday at 9:15 a.m. prior to the procession to his Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, Willimantic.
